MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to encourage young people on the Georgetown Divide to include and embrace music as part of their lives. We believe that music should be a critical component in the education and life-development of young people, and we strive to reinforce that direction through financial support.

BESAN-TOMFOHRDE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The community is invited to contribute to the Besan-Tomfohrde Scholarship Fund. The focus of the scholarship program is to facilitate private and group lessons for local schoolchildren by providing funding for lessons, finding and repairing instruments to loan and funding in-school group lessons. Donations to the scholarship fund may be tax-deductible and can be made at any time by mail to Music On The Divide, P.O. Box 1055, Georgetown, CA 95634 or at any MOTD concert.
